The mouth says one thing while the hand does another.

The President spoke at West Point and told everyone that the US was a leader but we needed to stop getting involved militarily in world politics. The BBC and Reuters reported on this but forgive me if I am not impressed.

Not only do we still have troops in Afghanistan (and have committed to keeping some there indefinitely) but we have the whole Syria issue - which the President is actually trying to take credit for keeping us away from. Please! He said we were going there no matter what and when Congress (they must have been drugged that day because they went with what the people wanted) told him no way, he threw a temper tantrum about it. And really, if our money is funding all these petty little territorial wars, isn't that just as bad as using our manpower and equipment to do it? We are keeping the entire world in turmoil longer with our financing. Flushing it down the drain would be a better way to waste it.

The reporters must not even read their own articles - or maybe they have the memory of an amnesiac. Why can't they just admit that our current President is a spineless idiot, and all our other leaders are only in office for all the benefits. None of them could tell you what is happening in the world unless they have received party sanctified information telling them what is supposedly going on.
