1. emails: It is very worrying that Mr Kerry and his government seem more interested in making political capital out of this tragic incident than in trying to calm the situation down and find a peaceful way to end the conflict in Ukraine.

Paul Lockwood is obviously a very astute person. Despite claims of the Ukrainian government over the past few days that the "rebels" have been desecrating the bodies at the crash site and hauling them off for illegal autopsies, the Dutch inspectors found them in good quality refrigerator cars being well-preserved. Nearly all the bodies are now accounted for. Despite claims that the "rebels" desecrated the bodies while moving them, I have only seen pictures of them respectfully carrying them.

The US government claims to have video proof that the Russians are involved. Why wasn't it posted immediately? They supposedly collected this proof weeks ago - why didn't they present it to the international community and to news agencies to gains support in their war against Russia?

The Ukrainian government has said it will not fight within 40km, but today civilians in Donetsk have died because of the fighting going on. If Ukraine pulls out during the investigation, there will be no fighting, and the trainload of bodies can be taken home. But, perhaps Ukrainian officials don't want the bodies to go home - perhaps they are the true ones desecrating the dead.

The US leaders are acting like crazed warmongers. It really should be no surprise that the official Ukrainian government, which the West helped put in power is aping them.
